I am a successful professional with a wealth of transferable skills gained in customer facing, administration and technical roles. My career began as a field sales executive working for several blue chip companies and rising to UK sales manager level. This experience gave me the confidence to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
I began developing websites around 2001, building my first website using HTML & CSS selling Koi and pond related products. I later upgraded the site using Actinic, and later OsCommerce gaining experience marketing the website using SEO and Google AdWords.
Alongside the website I also sold products on eBay and Amazon using CSV files from the websites database to create listings, later using Channel Advisor to manage all selling platforms.
I was approached by a leading aquatic company to use my market knowledge to head the customer service and returns department. I was later tasked with updating the company website, built using Magento open-source. I also create and maintain sites using WordPress & Bootstrap.
In addition to my work experience I am currently nearing completion of a degree in Business Studies & Statistics. This has further helped develop my critical thinking and refection. It also encourages exploration of creative and new ideas.
